Alan Grant
Alan Grant (1949-2022) was a British comic book writer best known for his work on 2000 AD (Judge Dredd, Judge Anderson, Strontium Dog, etc) as well as for DC Comics (Batman, Lobo, The Demon, etc).
During his time at 2000 AD he wrote so much for them he used various penames e.g. AALN-1, Staccato, Alvin Gaunt (with Kelvin Gosnell), Stavros, Rick Clark, Craig Lipp, etc to avoid his own own name appearing on so many strips in 1 issue.
