Synopsis
"Casualties of War" In the throne room of the Shi'ar Empire, the Phalanx celebrate their victory, while, hidden nearby, the X-Men (Beast Bishop, Rogue Gambit and Joseph) and Deathbird plan their next move. Deathbird leads Bishop to the 'Nest' to protect the yet-unborn next generation of Shi'ar. On Earth, Henry Peter Gyrich and Senator Robert Kelly discuss Operation: Zero Tolerance. Back on the Throneworld, Joseph, flashing back to his youth in Nazi-occupied Europe, unilaterally opts to attack the Phalanx. While the rest battle the aliens, Beast uploads a viral program that effectively eradicates the techno-organic invaders.
