Synopsis

DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE Power Girl has just leapt into a Boom Tube, hoping to catch up to the Parademons who kidnapped her friend Helena. The effect is disorienting, but eventually, she emerges on the other end, straight into a fight with more Parademons.  Meanwhile, Huntress is at the mercy of DeSaad, who is eager to taste the fear that has built up inside her. He tears open her costume, exposing the skin of her shoulder, sends an electrical current shooting through it. Though she experience pain, there is less fear than he'd like. Before he can give her another jolt, he discovers that Kara has arrived, and decides to attend to her first so that the suspense will build up even more fear in the Huntress. Of course, it doesn't take much for Helena to break free of her bonds, once DeSaad is out of sight - thanks to the claws that she usually keeps concealed; inherited from her mother. Unfortunately, her freedom does not go unnoticed, and the clumsy but powerful Marbury attacks her in service of its master. When she uses her superior speed and athleticism to knock him to the ground, he offers to let her become his new master.   After taking down the Parademons, Power Girl is surprised at how tired she feels. Calling out to Helena, she is answered instead by DeSaad, who admits that while the Huntress is still alive for the moment, she has been restrained. Angrily, Power Girl shouts that he should get back to Apokolips, and he responds that that is his intention - with her help. Her attack is easily deflected, and he mocks her efforts, explaining that just because the Apokoliptians were forced from her planet, it doesn't mean that she and they are equals. The Apokoliptians are so much more. As he prepares to fill Power Girl with a deadly electrical current, Huntress appears, warning him away with her crossbow.   DeSaad pays her no heed, announcing that since he has taken all he needs to know from Kara's mind, he has no use for them anymore. They are not filled with enough fear for him to be satisfied by killing them, and so they must stew a little more. With that, he sends them back through the Boom Tube. Confused and angry, Helena wants revenge, but Kara's got other problems. DeSaad messed with her powers.
