Synopsis
The WetWorks team agreed, so long as they could control the selection of their mission, to serve as I.O.'s official strike team. With this deal, they then traveled to Los Angeles to investigate a new alliance between global terrorist St. Crispin and Lara Hawthorne, the head of the multi-national Avalon Corporation. Soon after their arrival, Jester and Grail found themselves fighting a super-powered pair of mercenaries named Search and Destroy, while across town, Dane and Mother One learned that St. Crispin and Hawthorne were actually plotting to start a race war. Perched above a marina, Pilgrim received orders to simply sniper and eliminate the pair of evildoers. However, just as she took aim, a silver blade flew forth striking her weapon and ruining her shot. Looking up, she found herself facing the hero Loner, who now wanted of his own answered!
