Synopsis

Magneto enjoys the irony of Angel going to battle his friends, unaware the man he is protecting is his greatest enemy, and tell his followers he only needs a little time, as he has almost created his ultimate mutant. Angel meanwhile reaches the X-Men and Ka-Zar, but Ka-Zar simply swats him aside and continues heading for Creator's compound. The Swamp Men and Creator's mutants emerge to fight, and realizing he has been duped, Angel returns to the compound. When he overhears Magneto gloating about creating mutants out of captured savages, Angel angrily confronts him. Gloating, Magneto reveals who he is, and explains how he survived their last battle and came to the Savage Land. As he finishes, something startling emerges from mutation chamber. Minutes later the X-Men and Ka-Zar invade the compound, to be met by Magneto and an entranced Angel. Magneto introduced Lorelei, whose song paralyzes all the men, but Marvel Girl is unaffected. Magneto boasts that his machine casuses local magnetic fields to create countless neo-mutants, enough to conquer the world. Marvel Girl telekinetically opens Cyclops visor, and his optic blast destroys the machine. Explosions rock the building, and Magneto is buried beneath failling wreckage. Thinking him dead, the X-Men flee outside, and watch as the neo-mutants revert back to their original forms.
