The Reavers use Gateway's teleporting power to travel to Singapore to raid a bank. On their return to their Australian Outback hideout, the X-Men show up in town and fight and defeat them. Skullbuster, Bonebreaker and Pretty Boy manage to escape, but the other Reavers are captured. Roma reveals that she must now leave the X-Men to themselves and gives them the Siege Perilous - a gateway to a new beginning and a new life should they choose it. They send the captured Reavers through, who are only too happy to avoid death or prison, and set themselves up in their new home.
