Synopsis
At Death Do We Part Loki has trapped Kevin Masterson (the son of Eric Masterson). Thor and Loki battle as Thor tries to rescue Kevin. Thor gets Kevin and starts to run but Loki keeps attacking. On the ground, Code: Blue enters the building to join the fight. As Thor and Loki continue to fight, Code: Blue grabs the boy and whisk him off to safety. Thor gets the upper hand over Loki and almost kills him, but stops. Loki then kills Susan Austin for no reason. Thor loses it! He then begins the ancient and forbidden process of drawing out Loki's godly life force. Thor killed Loki! That moment awakened the All-Father from his Odin sleep. Odin decrees that Thor must be punished. Kevin is returned to his mom. Thor is banished for all eternity into the hands of Mephisto. Eric Masterson strikes his cane in anger and becomes...A New Thor.
