Synopsis

In an effort to find new talent, Marvel released this Try-Out Book featuring an original Spider-Man story in various stages of completion.  Readers could finish one or more sections and submit it with the promise that the winners would get a professional assignment in the form of being the creative team for an issue of Amazing Spider-Man.  That issue was never published. The winners were:  Chuck Duffie (plotter/scripter), Mark Bagley (penciller), Doug Hazlewood (inker), P. Jeanine Pasda (colorist), and Robin Riggs (letterer).
