Sheriff Lorring tracks the Lone Ranger and Tonto to the house of Linda Reid and asks them to come with him. Once at the morgue he shows them a body and a silver bullet found in it. He then proceeds to tell the Lone Ranger he's under arrest. At the same time Butch Cavendish is making plans to acquire a cache of weapons to use in his war against the Lone Ranger.
