Synopsis

"Brother Versus Brother, Part 1." Union man Nathaniel Kent, having been shot by Confederate soldier Jebediah, seeks revenge.This issue opens with Jeb Kent telling his version of the events that led to him shooting his brother Nate. Soon after that, Lincoln is elected president, the South secedes, and, with the shelling of Fort Sumter, the Civil War begins in earnest.
