Kate Maddox has been kidnapped and is being held against her will by a couple of thugs in a dingy apartment. The kidnappers are not quick witted and she is less than impressed by them or their conversations. The Big-Man conversation by Army General Cooper and oil baron Dixie Johnson is where the action is at, since it is regarding the state of the world. Meanwhile, Dr. Don is heading to rescue Kate on the Black Diamond, but picks up a surprise passenger.
