We last left our valiant team of heroes in dire peril after a cryptic warning from Nephthys, the ancient god of lost souls, about an impending catastrophe. Silhouette and our heroes were led to the depths of the inferno: an extra-dimensional underworld of darkness and demons - ruled - or at least night shift managed - by Mr. Malefic. After finding only Malefic's devilish sense of sarcasm and a swingin' supernatural ball of the damned, but no answers, our stalwart champions of justice return to earth just in time to find it trapped in the slobbering, foul-smelling jaws of a seemingly infinite horde of the living dead!
