Synopsis
While Sisko keeps the Klingon and Cardassian delegations from each other's throats, Odo and O'Brien investigate the explosion which destroyed the negotiator's ship. Maura offers to buy Quark's bar. Dax, Bashir, and Koleth arrive at Keltar, the last reported stop of the K'Tang in the Gamma Quadrant. The Klingons taking leave on Keltar direct the investigation towards Caldonia 3, a planet populated by cut-throats and mercenaries. Upon arrival, the local "godfather" insists that the K'Tang was destroyed because they went into the Abyss, where the dead spirits go to rest. Back on DS9, Klingons and Cardassians go beyond threats and Maura makes Quark an offer he can't refuse. Stardate 47295.9
