Events come to a head at the Royal Grand Hotel. Inside the building, the Black Marvel attends to his own agenda while Ricochet and Hornet clash with Prodigy outside. Hornet has uncovered that the Black Marvel tried to save people from a fire that burned the hotel down in his youth, but failed, and now Ricochet and Hornet are worried by what he might be planning.Dusk confronts Spider-Man, and asks him to leave her and her teammates alone. She teleports to the hotel as Prodigy begins to question why his mentor brought him to the hotel, and the Black Marvel makes his move.
