Synopsis

The Silver Surfer has returned to Earth and is immediately attacked by fighter jets, the world in fear since the events of Onslaught. They are called off by the X-Men and the Surfer flies to Four Freedoms Plaza. It is desolate and the Surfer somehow knows they are dead. He has no feelings yet he knows he should mourn for this.   He then goes to Alicia Masters in the hope she can rekindle his emotion as she had once before. She gives him some of his memories of the Fantastic Four and he seems to remember. But still no emotion. The Surfer gives the gift of sight to Alicia as payment, but only for a few moments.   He then goes and searches the Earth some more for memories and ends up at the grave of Al Harper. He is curious why he ever cared for such things.  But the Surfer is being watched by a woman known Sorentino whose reasons are unknown. He is also being watched by being that has traveled the galaxy to find the Surfer and his intentions are clear.....the Surfer's life.
