Synopsis

"Recouping Losses" Silver Sable and the rest of Wild Pack are reviewing some old tapes, and Silver Sable is disappointed in the group, as they could not take down Human Torch or Spider-Man. She goes especially hard on Battlestar, whom she holds to higher standards. Threatening to lower their status, she show them their next target - Venom.Later, Silver Sable goes on a talk show and discusses things with the audience, who do not view her as an appropriate role model. She argues back, much to her manager's dismay. Rivals observe her little speech and laugh at how she never changes. In San Francisco, where Venom is attacking some bikers, the Wild Pack attacks him, and cannot defeat him until Sandman uses his powers to stall him. All are sad as Sandman appears deceased, but ends up being alive and well. They are all happy for their success and Sandman's survival, until a strange mist sucks them all in. In Silver Sable: "Early Tales" , Sable recalls a time when they were on the brink of defeat at the hands of the Sinister Syndicate, and how her and Spider-Man defeated them. She then offers Sandman a job at the end of the flashback.
