Synopsis

MADHOUSE! A fire has broken out in Lockhaven Penitentiary as a result of Amygdala going berserk. Nightwing tries to stop the man who become a friend of Dick Grayson but is not very successful. Firemen are entering the prison to evacuate the inmates which is the opportunity for Torque and Tad Ryerstad to switch places with two firemen and break out of Lockhaven. Boone, another inmate, is also able to flee on his own and outside of the prison he overwhelms police officers Hicks and van Richter to steal their car.   At the same time, Chief Redhorn has a discussion with Mac Arnot. Redhorn makes it clear that he will not send any of his men to help at Lockhaven. Redhorn also thinks his police force is the strongest gang in Bludhaven and he will not support any of the remaining crime bosses to become another Roland Desmond. However, this would render Mac Arnot's position somehow unnecessary.  Meanwhile, Nightwing is able to calm down Amygdala stating he wants to help him. But when he calls the big guy by his real name Aaron, Amygdala is losing it again. Nightwing uses his suit taser to zap his opponent momentarily, but Amygdala is not to be stopped and throws Nightwing against the prison bars. But suddenly, Amygdala thinks he killed "the little masked man", starts to cry and falls asleep while Nightwing is getting up again.
