Synopsis

Scorpio returns and successfully traps Nick Fury, who was scheduled to attend the unveiling of a new and improved LMD. With Fury his captive, Scorpio uses a machine to make a perfect casting of his face which he then wears as a mask to impersonate him and attend the unveiling in his place.Whatever Happened to Scorpio?Nick Fury leaves his apartment to visit an old associate. The two discuss a dangerous mission after which Fury leaves in his S.H.I.E.L.D. customised Ferrari to investigate trouble at a warehouse. He drives inside the seemingly abandoned warehouse only to be trapped and confronted by Scorpio. Using the Zodiac Key, Scorpio defeats the S.H.I.E.L.D. Director, despite Fury’s Ferrari being equipped with numerous Bond-esque gadgets. Scorpio places the unconscious Fury in a device that allows him to duplicate Fury’s physical appearance right down to a face mask.Hours later at S.H.I.E.L.D. HQ, Scorpio arrives disguised as Nick Fury to witness a live Life Model Decoy test. The test begins and a masked L.M.D. enters the battle arena where he faces a number of traps and weapons. The L.M.D. manages to expertly overcome all obstacles before breaking off one of the laser guns and shooting open the arena door. The L.M.D. then attacks “Nick Fury” and while the duo fight it out, Fury’s previously mentioned associate somehow manages to infiltrate not only S.H.I.E.L.D.’s base but the battle arena itself! Valentina Fontaine tries to shoot the L.M.D. only to hit Fury’s associate and kill him. The L.M.D. removes his mask and reveals itself to be the real Nick Fury while Scorpio makes a break for it. Fury and other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents give chase, managing to put many bullets into their target. Nonetheless a bullet riddled Scorpio manages to dive through a window to fall from a great height into a river below. It is revealed later that no body was found in the river, leaving Nick Fury to wonder - whatever happened to Scorpio?
