Synopsis

Grant takes his revenge on the titans. Does Raven save them in time? When the enigmatic heroine known as Raven assembled the New Teen Titans in issue #1 of their new series, it was in order to battle her demonic father, Trigon. However, on their way to that fight, the Titans met a villain who would play an even bigger role in their lives; the ruthless mercenary Slade Wilson, known as Deathstroke the Terminator.Debuting in the shadows of the cover to the team's 2nd issue, written by Marv Wolfman and meticulously illustrated by artist George Perez, Deathstroke was contacted by the criminal organisation known as the H.I.V.E. , and asked to kill the Teen Titans. Refusing to work without an advance, Deathstroke turned down the offer only to see his son Grant Wilson take up the contract using the moniker "the Ravager."Unfortunately, Grant died during the ensuing battle when the H.I.V.E. experiment to increase his brain power also caused him to age at an accelerated rate. Later, when Deathstroke arrived to collect his son's body, he naturally blamed the Titans for Ravager's death, unwittingly playing right into the H.I.V.E.'s scheme. Deathstroke swore revenge against the Titans and began to plot their deaths - the true goal of the H.I.V.E. all along.Deathstroke would soon become a recurrent thorn in the Titans' side, and he remains an ever present watchful eye on their activities to the present day.   1st appearance of Deathstroke
