The Avengers Quinjet lands in the street and Luke Cage tells them to go to school. Drug dealers mistake Cage for one of their own, and Cage threatens to beat them up unless they stop drug dealing. Nicolette James, from Channel Sixty-Two, CBS Detroit, asks Captain America what is going on and why the Avengers are just standing there. Luke Cage reveals that they are doing “impact superhero work”, where the Avengers are going to chase all of the rats out of a bad neighbourhood. Iron Man calls the Avengers to Assemble, and Director Hill explains about the glowing male. She shows footage of Alpha Flight being killed. Shocked, the Avengers demand high-level power such as Agent Daisy Johnson. Iron Man contacts Ms Marvel. The X-Men won’t answer Wolverine’s calls. Iron Man gives Spider-Man the responsibility of leading “Team Two”, who are going to the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier to work out what this thing is and how to stop it. Cap calls the Sentry, however the latter is nervous about going into action, claiming the Void had warned him of something. Cap orders him to get up. Iron Man talks to the man, who reveals that his name is Michael, however Ms Marvel attacks him. Michael strikes back and reactivates Ms Marvel’s cosmic Binary powers…
