Giselle is captured by Archemus the master of a secret guild called the Geometer Guild. Giselle while in prison meets no other than Darrow. Archemus with his staff he can cancel any kind of magic. Vashua has called a Guild Master meeting, but tricking them and capturing them. They all go to the Geometer Guild building.
