The remaining Midnight Sons attack the Fallen in a final showdown. After a near defeat, they go to South America to find a member of the fallen named Foundry. There she gives Blade a sword that has the power to defeat the most powerful. In a battle in the forest, the Midnight Sons fight the Fallen and kill all its members, even Embrrye who converted to being good again. With all his Fallen dead, Zarathos is just as well killed by Blade and turned into a statue. From there Caretaker gives the mark of the MIdnight Sons to them(except Frank Drake because he is a mortal) as signs that they are the last hope against any supernatural threat. Meanwhile, it is revealed that Lilith is alive and is carrying Zarathos's child. Siege of Darkness, Part 17 of 17
