Eight-year-old Melvin Grimes was trick or treating on Halloween night, dressed as his favorite superhero, Major Damage, when he was abducted by the mucus men from outer space. The harmless scientists find his Major Damage comic and mistake him in costume for the "real" Major Damage. They presume he's had some kind of accident and want to help. They give him "back" his powers and return him to earth.
