Synopsis

In this standalone issue, the dying owner of a Manhattan convenience store is caught in the crossfire of a robbery. His savior is a beautiful young woman whose hunger for life is matched only by a terrifying need for something only he can give. When he follows this strange woman into a terrifying world of darkness, like Lucifer, he learns that sometimes there is no such thing as having nothing left to lose.NOTE: This is the first issue in the series in which the title character, Lucifer, makes no appearance in any way, shape or form except being mentioned several times. This issue focuses upon the story of a man, a shopkeeper named Sabah, a good man, he finds himself caught up in things no normal man should have to face. You see, he has a friend, her name is Miss Zim'et, but unlike what he always thought she is no ordinary woman, in fact she is one of the most deadly creatures on Earth, one of the Lilim and she needs his help. At first he is very afraid, and confused, but in the end their friendship perhaps remains for they both help each other out, he helps the Lilim birth a child and she cures him of his fatal illness.
