It's a special double-size issue of Love and Rockets, celebrating the tenth issue of Volume II. In the 20-page final chapter of Jaime's latest "Maggie" serial, a figure rises out of the ashes of Izzy's burned-down house, the demonic black dogs appear again, and Maggie is at the center of it all. On the Beto side of the fence, "Julio's Day" serial returns with the first of several longer chapters in issues to come: Julio and his brother come home from working in the city and the rain stops, and a family tragedy changes the course of their lives. This issue also includes the ultimate "Roy" epic, as Roy is joined by all the various characters from recent L&R short stories (Madame X, her psychiatrist Dr. Fausto, the Little Stunt Boy, and sister Mary Joseph and the monster she covets) in a JLA-type super-team on a mission to combat Roy's nemesis the Froat. There's also a "Whatever Happened to...?" one-pager for many of the older L&R characters (Castle Radium, Inez and Bang Bang, Errata Stigmata, Emico from Twitch City, and more) — and the conclusion of the Beto/Mario thriller "Me for the Unknown"! Plus...some surprises! 50 pages of great all-new work from Los Bros., a veritable graphic novel's worth of comics for the price of a comic book!
