Synopsis
The Legion of Super-Heroes are asked to investigate a planetoid that housed an astrological research center that had recently been destroyed, with everyone inside killed. One of the victims was a friend of the Invisible Kid and they try to follow any leads they can. They find a solar prominence separating from a local star and Brainiac 5 is able to find out that there are two humanoid creatures within it. The two beings grab the Legionnaires in their spacecraft and simply toss them away as if they were nothing. The Legionnaires, who consist of Timber Wolf, Invisible Kid, Shadow Lass and Phantom Girl, trace their radiation trail and find that the two humanoid beings landed on a nearby planet. There they find the Prophet warning its inhabitants that someone is coming to destroy them. Meanwhile, Element Lad refuses to believe that he was elected as the newest Legion leader as a write-in vote.
