Spears Among the Shadows: While Paul advises the people of Kusa on their crops, Timmy explores the coutryside with Ali. The two venture into the ruined buildings of Komba and discover Kimo hiding in a crumbling mosque from marauding Mahaggis. Following a severe storm that causes the trio to be partially buried in the mosque, Lassie finds and brings Paul to the rescue while the Sultan and his entourage rout the Mahaggis.
