Synopsis

FAMILY CRISIS! While the nine Justice League members who fought in the Earth-Mars War transport to Earth, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Supergirl meet the Flash in the satellite just in time to encounter three people who immediately transport the quartet to Earth-Two. On that world, Dr. Fate, Starman, Green Lantern, and Dr. Mid-Nite are battling winged monkeys somehow connected to the trio who have brought the Justice League there. The combined forces fight off the monkeys, which disappear, finally allowing the civilians time to explain why this is happening. When Dr. Joshua Champion, a research scientist, disappeared from his lab one day, and nobody could tell his daughter Victoria or his son Ian where he was, they contacted their aunt Meredith to stay with them. They were about to give up hope when Champion's image appeared to them, boasting of the tremendous power he now had. Before he disappeared he showed signs that he was fighting the feelings he had just shown, and they suddenly knew that they could get help from someone simply by willing themselves to be transported to those they sought. Thus, they enlisted the Justice League. Somehow tuned into their father's presence, the children lead teams of super-heroes to potential meeting points. Victoria, Meredith, Superman, Flash, Dr. Mid-Nite, and Starman head into an alien dimension and a planet with a constantly changing surface, while Ian, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and Dr. Fate battle winged mythological creatures at the Pentagon. The team in the alien world finds a domed city with a workforce creating a deafening din. To escape, they enter an empty building, which houses the brain center of the force inhabiting Joshua Champion. Immediately, they are blinded by a beam which sends them into revelry; their fondest desires come true, except for Dr. Mid-Nite, who blacks out the beam and seems to free them. They find the unconscious Champion, and with Dr. Fate and Starman taking care of the city's teeming hordes, the Champions transport everyone back to Earth, with everyone except Dr. Mid-Nite now under the control of the brain which controls Joshua Champion.
