Synopsis

THE DREAM FACTORIES OF DOCTOR DESTINY! Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Zatanna, Hawkgirl and Superman join Red Tornado to track down and capture Dr. Destiny. The villain reveals that the scheme smashed by Red Tornado (in the previous issue) was merely a test of the "Omega Program," which will activate a series of hidden materioptikons, set off a dream-plague of world-wide nightmares, and cause humanity to go insane.   Superman and Hawkgirl battle more dream-demons at the Danish castle—the site of Shakespeare's Hamlet (source of the line: "to sleep, perchance to dream"). Red Tornado and Zatanna fight mind-controlled townspeople and an animated statue in India, at the site of the Buddha's enlightenment (another kind of dream), while Wonder Woman and Green Lantern encounter a robotic menace in Philadelphia (where the Declaration of Independence gave birth to the American Dream). The three teams destroy Destiny's devices simultaneously, thus deactivating the deadly "Omega Program."
