Synopsis
THE BATTLE AT THE EDGE OF FOREVER! Albon and Nordon, two survivors of a dead alien race called the Krill, are observers of Supergirl and the Justice League's quest for the missing Superman. To satisfy their own curiosity, they bring the JLA and Despero together for a final battle. Over and again they set several Leaguers against Despero, swapping combatants every time it looks like Despero is about to lose. Once the combatants realize they are being manipulated by an outside force, Supergirl is able to trick the aliens into betting on the outcome. Then she easily defeats Despero, and while Albon and Nordon fight each other, the heroes to depart with Despero as their captive, and they return to Earth together with a revived Superman.
