Synopsis

THE PARALLEL PERILS OF ADAM STRANGE! Duplicates of many of the menaces once defeated by Adam Strange begin appearing on the planet Rann, but these duplicates are far deadlier than the originals, and resist Adam's efforts to overcome them. When Superman, Flash, Green Lantern, Black Canary, and Elongated Man are mysteriously transported to Rann by Sardath's Zeta-Plus bean (an instantaneous teleportation ray, as opposed to the earlier Zeta-beams which were fired into space years before they arrived on Earth), they learn that Adam's fiancee, Manna, has apparently been killed by one of the reincarnated threats. Not suspecting that Kanjar Ro is behind the multiple perils, which he is using to lure the JLA members to their destruction, the heroes team up with Adam, only to be-come victims of a disintegration beam. Chagrined with his inability to deal with the menaces to his adopted world, or to avenge his sweetheart and friends, Adam Strange undertakes a journey to Earth, by reverse Zeta-Plus beam, to recruit the other Justice League members.
