Synopsis

"If It's Tuesday, This Must Be--Apokolips!" Lord Manga Khan arrives on Apokolips and tells Virman Vundabar that he has Mister Miracle. Manga Khan offers to give the hero to the dark New Gods in return for Boom Tube technology to make his international bartering much easier. While they negotiate, L-Ron destroys the JLI's space cruiser just before the occupants traverse to the planet's surface. In Armagetto, Big Barda, G'nort, and the Martian Manhunter learn that Miracle is being kept at Granny Goodness's orphanage. The Lowlies] agree to get the JLI inside and fashions a new suit for Rocket Red. Manhunter impersonates a guard to enter the orphanage and as soon as Barda gets a replacement Mega-Rod, he demands she return them to Earth, so they can regroup. Goodness is infuriated that Manga Khan has led the heroes to them and she imprisons Khan, who immediately escapes by taking off his armor and turning into a living gas. She snatches a bickering Justice League (minus Captain Atom) and transports them to Apokolips for a raid.
