THINGS FALL APART On another mission for the Wonder Twins the 31st Century Justice League find themselves teleported to a wasteland planet as a stepping-stone to their target planet to avoid detection and The Five's armies. While the Leaguers struggle to comprehend their new lack of powers and situation the Wonder Twins squabble and inadvertently call their team "brain-damaged children" as they listen in. With communications closed out of awkwardness Green Lantern carries the team over to their target while the Wonder Twins receive an alarming warning that Locus is on that world. Their attempts to warn the team fall on deaf ears as they rush to prove themselves against the 19-year old reality warper. In a bar Locus laments her romantic failures to Coeval - a fellow member of the Five - who distracts her by directing her to the League 3000 who had all just made their landing upon the planet. While they surveyed their surroundings Locus interrupts causing Superman to charge straight in and be blown away immediately. Though the Leaguers put up some resistance to her overwhelming power she tears the Flash apart effortlessly and shrinks Green Lantern down to steal him away for herself. The other members are teleported away to Takron-Galtos as the Twins are told that the data they had on the armies was fabricated by Coeval who wanted to lure the League into a trap.
