"Master of Light" On Pluto, Batman and Squire attempt to make contact with the Justice League, following their entry into the "Infant Universe of Qwewq". The League had followed the villain Black Death into the universe three days after a confrontation with him in Metropolis. While Squire tries to reach the League, Batman activates robot duplicates of the missing heroes in order to make it look like they aren't missing. In Kinshasa, Gorilla Grodd and Neh-Buh-Loh have the Ultramarine Corps besieged in their armory, as well as a destroyed Warmaker One and a mind controlled Goraiko. While the group prepares for a counter attack against the villains, The Master betrays them, and is revealed to be under the control of a Sheeda "Spine-Rider". He threatens to kill 4-D, forcing the Corps to surrender. Grodd reveals to Knight that he has reactivated Superbia, and killed all of its refugee inhabitants, renaming the city "Gorillatropolis". The heroes refuse to surrender, but Neh-Buh-Loh uses Sheeda Spine-Riders to control them. Above the city, Batman arrives with the robotic League at his side. However, once the Master realizes that they aren't human, he uses his powers to destroy the robots. Batman is incapacitated by Neh-Buh-Loh, and Grodd orders the Ultramarines to destroy the now defenseless Earth. In Qwewq, the Justice League has finally caught up to Black Death, who reveals that he has been working for Grodd and Neh-Buh-Loh to draw the heroes away from Earth. However, Green Lantern is able to lock on to Squire's signal, allowing the League to return from Qwewq. As Grodd's plan unfolds, the League boom tubes in.
