A Chain Lightning crossover issue. While Max Mercury wraps up some errands before he and Bart Allen join the other speedsters on their mission through time, Bart is intent on reading the book on his grandfather: The Life Story of the Flash. However, Bart’s mind quickly wanders, and he creates a world for himself where he is Barry Allen’s sidekick. In this imaginative world, Bart and Barry live together, playing video games and having fun waiting for the Flash Signal to tell them when they’re needed. Together, Bart and Barry fight not only the Rogues Gallery, but some of DC’s greatest villains. Not only is Bart the faster of the two, he is also the better strategist, and his plans allow the two of them to defeat their enemies. Helen interrupts Bart’s daydream, and Bart pleasantly confides that the book did make him feel closer to his grandfather.
