Walking StickTom Benning has just returned from his Uncle Hartley's funeral. Unbeknownst to his fellow mourners, Benning killed his Uncle, for the inheritance. Benning places his Uncle's walking stick in an upstairs closet. Suddenly, the closet door opens, of it's own accord. Benning hears the sound of his Uncle's walking stick, tapping against the floor, coming ever closer. A tree branch crashes through the window, startling the already panicked Benning, causing him to fall down the stairs. As he tumbles, Benning believes he is being beaten by his Uncle's walking stick. Benning confesses to the murder. A rational explanation is provided for all of the moments Benning believed his Uncle's ghost was pursuing him. Benning, though, cannot be shaken from the belief that his Uncle's ghost has visited him.
