Hourman #15
Synopsis
Continued from last issue. At first, Hourman and Bethany Lee do not realize that Snapper Carr is not with them. Snapper has been captured by retail demons, and is being tortured in a mall somewhere. Hourman and Bethany return to Happy Harbor, where they try to enlist the aid of Bethany’s mother, police chief Andrea Lee. Both the chief and Officer Lenin refuse to help, mainly because of Bethany's budding romance with the android Hourman. Hourman comes up with an idea to rescue Snapper: he will disguise himself in his new secret identity as Matther Tyler and use himself as bait. Hourman’s plan works, and he is grabbed by the Snatcher. We find out that the Snatcher and the demons work for the Undersoul, an arch-enemy of Hourman’s from another time. Hourman finds Snapper...
