It's the rematch of the century as Hal Jordan, the uber-powerful Parallax, battles Kyle Rayner for the right to bear the Green Lantern power ring.Ganthet and Hal argue about which of them should get the ring but Kyle refuses to hand it over to anyone. Hal grabs him and Kyle lashes out. Fighting ensues, Kyle is no match for Hal or that’s what Ganthet thinks so he teleports away for people who stand a chance.Martian Manhunter, Aquaman, Flash, Hawkman, Superman and Green Arrow are called. Kyle hold his own valiantly despite Hal’s superior power, skill and experience. In the end Kyle falls and Hal prepares to take the ring. Ganthet arrives with his team.
