Kyle Rayner faces his toughest challenge yet. If the neophyte Green Lantern can't find a way to defeat the mechanical monstrosity known as Duality he may loose his ring forever.Kyle and Donna take a jog through New York and Kyle is having a hard time keeping up with the superior athletics of a longtime superhero, Titan and Amazon princess now turned Darkstar. Kyle begs her to stop, once they do they get mugged, Kyle uses his ring while Donna uses martial arts she then demonstrates to Kyle how to defend himself without the ring. He is impressed.He offers her the cartridge ride he promised a few issues back. She has to cut though so he transforms and flies across New York then gets attacked by a monster. Kyle fights valiantly but the monster wins. Back at his apartment Ganthet reveals he sent the monster, he then tells Kyle the origins of the ring before asking him to hand it back. Kyle refuses and just then Hal Jordan walks in.
