"Old Friends" In an alley somewhere in Seattle, three armed goons meet. Suddenly, Eddie Fyers bursts out of a garbage bag, and shoots them all dead. At the Sherwood Florist, Oliver Queen questions Dinah Lance about her relationship with Officer "Kaz" Kozynski - who murdered two gangsters recently, before killing himself. Dinah is uncomfortable about the fact that in Oliver's absence, she might have considered being with Kaz - not knowing about his crimes. Oliver tries to be comforting, and apologizes for leaving, knowing that he should never have left. A knock comes at the door, and when opened, a wounded Eddie Fyers collapses in the entryway. Fyers isn't forthcoming about who is after him, despite Ollie's demands, and concerns that they will soon be following. Dinah isn't pleased to have Eddie in her house, and tries to convince Oliver to kick him out. Dinah warns that Oliver has all the signs of becoming someone like Fyers. Oliver resolves to move Eddie to a different location so as to spare Dinah and their home the trouble. Eddie and Oliver end up hiding out in the old warehouse that Oliver had used when he was in hiding for suspicion of treason and terrorism. Oliver says that here, the fight will be on their terms, and they will be found sooner. Meanwhile, the men chasing after Fyers finally arrive at the Sherwood Florist, only to discover a note saying "Dear Killers, Sorry we couldn't wait. Perhaps another time."
