Synopsis

Bastion tries to manipulate the captive Jubilee into revealing secrets of the X-Men.  He shows her false evidence of the deaths of Cyclops and Bishop in order to evoke memories, but he learns nothing useful. Back at Xavier's School for Gifted Children, Emma Frost probes Sean Cassidy's mind to search for clues of the possible whereabouts of the missing Gen X'ers.  A memory of the original X-Men bound in vines sparks a realization in Sean and he hastily flies off. At Bastion's base, an image of a tortured Wolverine begging for mercy merely makes Jubilee laugh, knowing it is false.  A frustrated Bastion recalls his own memory then, and the images are transmitted to the monitors.  His assistant, Daria, watches as onscreen, a mechanical hand is enveloped by a skin-like substance, then the hand is revealed to belong to Bastion.  He takes his leave, ordering Daria to commence "Operation: Zero Tolerance".
