Synopsis

Sally Floyd is a seasoned reporter who seems to be washed up while suffering from a drinking problem. After the events of the House of M she approached her editor to bring back her feature, the “Mutant Diaries”. Initially reticent, he reluctantly allowed it. After a tip-off, her first big story focussed on former mutant. Chamber. Kept unconscious in the hospital, his face & chest were gaping holes where his psionic abilities used to pour out. The only thing keeping him alive was an extremely hi-tech machine provided by the X-Men. Floy'd story received immediate national acclaim. After seriously defeating a Congressman in a televised debate, Sally returned home to find an envelope of photographs of depowered mutants that have been killed taped to her front door.
