It's voodoo chaos in the Big Easy as the reanimated dead are crawling out of their graves and overrunning the streets. Gambit may be the only person who can save the city from an undead apocalypse, but he’s got bigger problems at the moment: two women, both heartbroken, both angry, and both demanding his head on a platter. The linving dead are overrunning New Orleans, but that isn't so bad. After all, zombies are slow and stupid and not even close to a match for somebody like Remy LeBeau, the mutant super hero known as Gambit. not only that, Gambit has mystically powered backup from another local hero, Brother Voodoo, and between the two of thel, an army of zombies is something they can easily handle. But things get complicated with the appearance of one zombie in particular: the reanimated corpse of a young mutant named Emery Arcenaux. Emery's powers made him invulnerable when he was alive... but at least he could be reasoned with. Now Emery is back from the grave, a mindless murder machine. Gambit can't hurt Emery, can't touch Emery, and certainly can't kill him. So how in the world is Gambit supposed to stop him?!
