Synopsis

A collection of comics and stories, including:  "Tunnel of Death" , featuring the Flash :  Jay Garrick, a.k.a. the Flash, must investigate a series of mysterious cave-ins that have been occurring in the new intercity tunnel. --  "Hunting for Arsonists" , featuring Johnny Thunder :  Daisy's father asks Johnny to look into a matter regarding a cheap politician that once tried to keep him from erecting an apartment building.  Lately, his buildings have had a sudden increase in fires, and he suspects that the politician is back and involved somehow.  Johnny would do anything to impress Daisy and her father, but can he keep his Thunderbolt powers under control before he does more harm than good? --  "The Awesome Alligator" , featuring Hawkman :   Karvac, a student of ancient mysteries, uses ages old rites to resurrect Scorpio, the alligator god of the Phoenicians. He calls on and brings the god back into existence in the form of a large alligator which gives Karvac the knowledge of making a flame gun (though he professes not knowing the actual secret). Karvac outfits his army with flame gun rifles (while he carries it in pistol form), both of which are strong enough to dissolve a man into goo. PLUS :  The Whip, King Standish, Cliff Cornwall, and more!!
