Synopsis

DEEP FREEZE MENACE! 50,000 years ago, the Cro-Magnon hunter named Klag attempted to stop a thief named Brugg. However, during the struggle Klag was knocked into a cavern and was trapped in a state of suspended animation. In present times an earthquake releases Klag, who is now encased in ice and endowed with super-human abilities, including flight, super strength, and the ability to spray gas from his icy armor. Krag flies to Gotham City, where he starts attacking everything in sight. There the creature is attacked by Batman and Robin, who are fought off easily and Klag flies away. Later in the Batcave, Batman deduces that Klag is searching for the thief he tried to stop in his own time, a thief that bares a striking resemblance to Bruce Wayne. Devising a plastic sealant device, Batman and Robin then track down Klag to his next location. They find Klag in Spain, attacking a bull fighter who also resembles Bruce Wayne, and the two interrupt Klag's attack. While Robin keeps Klag busy, Batman sprays the Cro-Magnon with enough plastic sealant to render him inert. They then turn him over to the authorities in the hopes that he can be freed from the ice which is the source of his powers and be assimilated into modern day society. CASE OF THE 20 GRAND PAYOFF
