Synopsis

ROBIN’S ROBOT After a criminal scientist charges Batman and Robin with polar opposite energies that cause destruction if they are too close to each other, the Caped Crusader works with a robot Robin. During one encounter, the crooks gain control of the robot as well. However, it is soon revealed that the Robot Robin is actually Robin in disguise after his electric charge is negated by a strange jolt of electricity. He posed as a robot in order to infiltrate the criminals' hideout and guide Batman to their location. When the criminals are captured, Batman's energy charge wears off and he returns to his normal condition. THE CURSE OF KING NEPTUNE LIGHTS, CAMERA AND DOOM Diane Meade is hired by Apex Studios producer Peters to star and do stunts in their next feature, The Lady Commando. The reason: the set has been plagued by sabotage, and the last stunt girl has quit. John Jones decides to hang around, and, when Diane is endangered by several incidents of sabotage while doing stunts, assumes his Martian form and secretly helps her safely complete the stunts. When Diane is kidnapped by crooks, the Manhunter is temporarily disabled by a fire, but she manages to capture all of them herself and learns that Scobey, the director, is the real saboteur. Scobey had been paid by a rival producer to bollix the picture. Diane arrests Scobey, and Jones wanders in seconds later, to be told by Diane that he wasn't needed this time around.
