Synopsis
PERIL AT PLAYLAND ISLE Batman and Robin are invited to an amusement on the eve of its grand opening only to investigate the murder of its owner. They infer that the killer must be one of the other guests invited by the owner for the evening's inspections. When they Dynamic Duo find the killer, a great chase ensues until the heroes manage to capture the criminal. Afterwards, the amusement park is opened for all kids to enjoy, as its late owner would have wanted. THE GOLDEN LIE DETECTOR MENANCE OF THE MARTIAN WEAPONS! When some Martian weapons appear on Earth, they are found by gangster Buggsy Roach and used by him in crime-sprees. John Jones is seen changing into J'onn J'onzz by Captain Harding, but Harding assumes that Jones has been physically transformed somehow by one of the Martian weapons. J'onzz's invisibly causes an explosion that destroys the weapons and allows him to capture Roach and his gang, but John Jones tells Harding later on he was able to find the weapon that "transformed" him back to his human state before it, too, was destroyed.
