Synopsis

LABORATORY LOOT The Cavalier learns of a recently invented machine and he sets out to steal it for his collection, but once again he is confronted by Batman and Robin. However, the Dynamic Duo is foiled by some criminals who also want to steal the machine and Cavalier manages to get the invention while Batman and Robin fight the thugs. The next day, Bruce Wayne recognizes a member of his gentlemen club as the Cavalier because of a spot in his hand which was caused in last night's fight. Batman and Robin know that Mortimer Drake, millionaire eccentric is the Cavalier and they prepare a trap for him. Spreading the rumor that the stolen machine wasn't the original, Batman and Robin wait for Cavalier to return at the crime scene to steal the real machine and he falls for Batman's trap. Cavalier learns that Batman already knows his secret identity and he decides to flee, but he assures Batman that the Cavalier will return soon.
