Synopsis

FINAL EXAM In Hollywood, Batman continues his work to bring down the Academy of Crime in his disguise as Matches Malone. His efforts are for naught, as soon the criminals become aware of his facade. During one of the classes, the Headmaster asks "Matches Malone" to become the next stunt man dressed as Batman for the demonstration. It is then that Batman realizes that the thugs are already wise to him and he escaped before all the criminals turn against him. As Batman, he starts taking the thugs down one by one until the only ones remaining are the Headmaster and his right man, Miles. Without much effort, Batman takes Miles down and causes the Headmaster's breakdown, ending the Academy of Crime for good.   Meanwhile in Gotham, Vicki Vale is pushed to deliver her photos with evidence of Batman's identity and James Gordon has  established a partnership with Jason Bard and he is determined to find the truth behind Hamilton Hill. SLEEP WHILE SERPENT SLEEPS! Batgirl survives Lady Viper's bite, but falls into a deep slumber and she is found by a group of homeless people who take her down to the sewers.  While Batgirl remains unconscious for the most part of the week, Lady Viper continues her criminal spree and Barbara's co-workers have started to take notice of her absence.   When Batgirl recovers after days of unconsciousness, she is horrified to find that she has been transformed into a snake lady, just like Lady Viper.
