THE ZODIAC MASTER Batman and Robin battle the Zodiac Master, a criminal who claims to be able to predict accidents and uses zodiacal symbols as weapons. The Dynamic Duo learn that the Zodiac Master has been rigging the accidents to cement his reputation for predicting the future so he can charge the Gotham underworld to predict the success of their crimes. The Dynamic Duo try to stop him, but he constantly manages to escape until the heroes find a way to infiltrate the criminal's secret hideout. After a long battle and series of several traps prepared by the Zodiac Master, Batman finally finds a way to stop him and captures the crook for good. THE HOBBY MISSIONS The Martian Manhunter agrees to perform one task apiece for three members of the Hobbyists' Club, to be decided by the turn of a wheel and its pointer. Each member pays $10,000 for the privilege, with Ron Hawkins spinning the wheel. The Manhunter performs the three tasks, including earning a magic mask by doing good deeds for a Peruvian tribe which owned it. The mask gives its wearer the power of invisibility, and J'onzz is astonished later when Clay, the mask's winner, appears to be committing robberies while wearing the mask. J'onzz learns that Clay is still a millionaire, and later discovers that Hawkins rigged the wheel to point to Clay on the last turn, knowing he would have the Manhunter go after the invisibility mask. Then he kidnapped Clay, took the mask, and masqueraded as Clay while using the mask's power to commit crimes. J'onzz destroys the mask, captures Hawkins, and frees Clay.
